No position category is safe this week from the injury report.Here’s what you need to know heading into Sunday morning.
Quarterbacks
Titans QB Vince Young (knee, ankle) is questionable after missing practice all week. He's not expected to start against the Eagles. Kerry Collins will be under center.
Eagles QB Mike Vick (chest) is questionable against the Titans, and will backup Kevin Kolb again this week.
Jaguars QB David Garrard (concussion) is out this week. Teammate Trent Edwards (thumb) is questionable and will be a game time decision following one day of limited practice Friday. Third string quarterback Todd Bauman has been getting the majority of first team snaps this week, and could start against the Chiefs.
Browns QB Jake Delhomme (ankle) and teammate Seneca Wallace (ankle) are both doubtful once again this week. Colt McCoy gets the start against the Saints, looking to build on his solid NFL debut.
Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski (right shoulder) and teammate Jason Campbell (knee) are both questionable after limited participation in practice all week. Gradkowski looks like the number three quarterback, with either Campbell or Kyle Boller getting the start against the Broncos.
Running Backs
Saints RB Pierre Thomas (ankle) and teammate Reggie Bush (fibula) are once again out. Chris Ivory will carry the load against the Browns.
Raiders RB Darren McFadden (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis all week and is questionable against the Broncos. He says he's 70/30 to play, so monitor him closely before kickoff.
Patriots RB Fred Taylor (toe) is out once again this week. BenJarvus Green-Ellis gets the start against the Chargers.
Redskins RB Clinton Portis (groin) is out. Ryan Torain starts against the Bears.
Wide Receivers
Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (concussion) is out this week against the Titans.
Chargers WR Malcolm Floyd (hamstring) and teammate Legedu Naanee (hamstring) are both doubtful against the Patriots after not practicing all week.
Broncos WR Eddie Royal (groin) is questionable after returning to practice on a limited basis Friday. He'll be a gametime decision against the Raiders.
Patriots WR Julian Edelman (concussion) was limited Thursday and Friday, and is questionable against the Chargers.
Titans WR Justin Gage (hamstring) is questionable after practicing fully Thursday and Friday. He'll start against the Eagles.
Cardinals WR Steve Breaston (knee) is questionable after limited participation in practice all week. He'll be a gametime decision against the Seahawks.
Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi (head) didn't practice this week and is doubtful against the Saints.
Other Positions
Chargers TE Antonio Gates (toe) was held out of practice all week and is listed as questionable against the Patriots. He'll be a game-time decision, but reportedly will play.
Redskins TE Chris Cooley (head) is questionable after practicing fully on Friday. He'll start against the Bears.
Ravens TE Todd Heap (neck) is listed as questionable despite returning to full practice Friday. He'll be on the field against the Bills.
Chargers K Nate Kaeding (groin) has been ruled out against the Patriots. Kris Brown kicks in his place.
