Brandon Marshall said that extra time has done wonders for him and now he is completely ready to play Sunday against the New York Jets
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall admits that he tried to play last week, he wanted to play last week. But the coaching staff thought better of it and decided to give his strained right hamstring more time to heal. Marshall said Thursday that extra time has done wonders for him and now he is completely ready to play Sunday against the New York Jets. "The three or four days that I had extra to rest was huge, [made] a big difference," Marshall told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "Practice on Wednesday was totally different, and gave me piece of mind that [the hamstring] is healed in there, and I should be able to make the plays that I'm normally capable of making." Marshall has been limited in practice all week, including Friday. He is listed as questionable on the Dolphins' official injury report, put expected to play. He hasn't played since week 11's loss to the Chicago Bears.
